Internal Audit Manager

Responsibilities

    Job Title: Internal Audit Manager
    Reports To: CEO

    Responsibilities:
    • To plan, organise and carry out the internal audit function including the preparation of an audit plan which fulfils the responsibility of the department, scheduling and assigning work and estimating resource needs
    • To report to CEO on internal audit results
    • To work with external auditors, when appropriate
    • To suggest to CEO or directors action plans to prevent, detect and correct improper/ violated actions which relates to business ethics, including: Frauds and wastes in business, Management abuse of power, Improper communications of people in the working environment, which impact on other staff
    • To make recommendations on the systems and procedures being reviewed regarding standards of ethics in business, report on the findings and recommendations and monitor management's response and implementation
    • Conduct trainings, workshops to staff regarding standards of ethics in business environment
    • To manage communications with people
    • To prioritise tasks to ensure maximum effectiveness of the internal audit function
    • To conduct any reviews or tasks requested by CEO or directors
    • To act with the utmost integrity
    • Act as an Operations team member to manage the working system and internal assessment involvement



Requirements

    Qualifications:
    • Work experience in accounting/ financial audit and compliance
    • Knowledge of audit procedures, including planning, techniques, test and sampling methods involved in conducting audits
    • Knowledge of computerised accounting and auditing record keeping systems
    • Ability to gather, analyse and evaluate facts/ data and to prepare and present concise oral and written reports
    • Ability to work unsupervised
    • Experience of working in international audit corporations such as KPMG, PWC, E&Y, etc. is an advantage

    • Well-organised, problem solving & details management
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Excellent technical audit and accounting skills
    • Good communication in English and Vietnamese
    • Familiar with MS Office (ie. Word, Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, etc…)
    • Excellent technical audit and accounting skills
    • Good at oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively at all levels.
    • Ability to work independently
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
