Anastasia

Regional Manager of Teaching and Learning

After graduating from a pedagogical university with a degree in English teaching, Anastasia embarked on a career in education and ventured into teaching abroad. She commenced her journey at ILA as a teacher 8 years ago. Subsequently, Anastasia earned the Cambridge DELTA Module 1 certificate and a Master's degree in Education Leadership and Management from Keele University, all while performing the role of Regional Manager of Teaching and Learning at ILA.

Alex

Teaching and Learning Manager 

Alex has a Bachelor's Degree in Design Management and earned his CELTA in Oxford, UK. He has worked in Vietnam and at ILA for more than 10 years, since 2013, and in that time has been a teacher, Senior Teaching and finally Teaching and Learning Manager since 2019. During that time he has managed 9 different centres in other provinces and HCMC locations, and is currently about to embark on his Masters degree in Linguistics and TESOL at Nottingham University in the UK.

Allen

Teaching and Learning Manager 

Allen has a Bachelors Degree from an American University. Allen has completed a Cambridge CELTA, IH Certificate in Advanced Methodology and holds a TELF- Children (Advance Certificate) from Colombia College. He has been in the ELT industry for 9 years. Allen has worked at ILA since 2017 starting as a teacher, then Senior Teacher and is currently the Teaching and Learning Manager at ILA Can Tho 1&2 Centres.

Barbora

Teaching and Learning Manager 

Barbora has been in the ESL field for over 10 years, working in Slovakia, Morocco, Indonesia and for the past 5 years in Vietnam. She has a TESOL from Trinity College London. Barbora has worked for ILA for 5 years and is a Teaching and Learning Manager for ILA Quang Trung and ILA Nguyen Anh Thu. She holds a Master's degree in Therapy Education with a focus on art therapy. Her experience in psychology and theater has been a great asset while delving into education.

David

Teaching and Learning Manager 

David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Management. Deciding to pursue a career in the field of education led him to move to Vietnam. He has since been working at ILA for over 7 years, starting as a teacher before moving into the role of Teaching and Learning Manager. During his time at ILA he has extended his qualifications by completing DELTA Module 1 and the Cambridge Train the Trainer course. He has worked at numerous ILA centres throughout Ho Chi Minh City and is currently based at ILA Cong Hoa, Tan Binh.

Stacey

Teaching and Learning Manager 

Stacey completed a degree in Commerce as well as a Diploma in Culinary Arts in Canada before moving her focus to the EAL field. She has been with ILA since 2019. Stacey has completed the CELTA, Delta Module 1, as well as Cambridge Train the Trainer certification.

Jason

Regional Manager of Teaching and Learning

Jason has taken on teaching and managerial roles at ILA for over 10 years and is currently a Regional Manager of Teaching and Learning. Over the past decade, he has devoted himself to professional development, striving to gain a deeper understanding of how language learners can succeed. He holds the Cambridge CELTA certificate, the Young Learners extended to CELTA certificate, the Cambridge DELTA certificate, the Cambridge Trainer certificate, and a Bachelor's degree in Business. Each of these certifications has empowered Jason to provide better support for the management team and educators at ILA.

Jeremy

Teaching and Learning Manager 

Jeremy achieved a Bachelors of Commerce (specialising in Information Systems) and a TESOL certificate in 2016. He promptly moved to Vietnam to pursue a career in Education. He has worked at ILA for 5 years and in that time received certification to teach SAT classes. Currently Jeremy oversees two centres in District 7 in a Teaching and Learning Manager role.

Jesse

Teaching and Learning Manager 

Jesse has 23 years experience in the education industry, including 13 years in textbook publishing and 10 years in Teaching English as a Second Language. He holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, a Master's degree in Philosophy, CELTA and DELTA Module 1 qualifications, and a Cambridge speaking examiner certification. He has worked at ILA Vietnam for 9 years.

Liam

Teaching and Learning Manager 

Liam started as a teacher at ILA in 2018 in Ho Chi Minh. Due to his academic excellence and strong leadership skills, he became a senior teacher and moved to ILA Da Nang in 2019. He holds a Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages & Applied Linguistics as well as the Cambridge English "Train the Trainer" certificate and the International House "Director of Studies" certificate. He is currently the Teaching and Learning Manager of two centers in Ho Chi Minh and is an IELTS speaking examiner.

Sammie 

Teaching and Learning Manager 

After moving to Vietnam, Sammie started as a teacher with ILA. She has been a Manager of Teaching and Learning in Nha Trang for the past 5 years. She has completed the CELTA and DELTA, as well as Director of Studies and Train the Trainer certifications.

Matthew

Regional Manager of Teaching and Learning

Matthew currently holds the position of Regional Manager of Teaching and Learning for ILA Vietnam, overseeing the Hanoi centers and Northern provinces. He has been with ILA for 12 years. Matthew's passion for education stems from his parents, both of whom have been dedicated music teachers for over 40 years. Matthew holds the Cambridge CELTA certificate, an extended Young Learners certificate to CELTA, and DELTA certification.

Nathan

Senior Teaching and Learning Manager

Nathan attended Western Washington University and earned his Bachelor's degree in Psychology. He dedicated over 10 years to volunteering as a psychological counselor in the Seattle. This background served as the inspiration for Nathan to pursue an education career in Asia nearly 13 years ago. He holds a CELTA certificate, an extended Young Learners certificate to CELTA, and DELTA Module 1. Nathan has worked for ILA in various positions for over 6 years. Currently, he holds the position of Senior Teaching and Learning Manager in Ho Chi Minh City.

Robert

Regional Manager of Teaching and Learning

Continuing a family tradition, after receiving a scholarship and completing his Master's degree at the University of Nottingham, Robert made the resolute decision to combine his passion for travel and education by pursuing a teaching career abroad.

He obtained his Cambridge CELTA certificate in the UK in 2014 and has worked at ILA for nearly a decade. Robert extended his qualifications by achieving the Cambridge Young Learners certificate and completing two DELTA modules. Over the years, he has held various positions within ILA and currently serves as the Regional Manager of Teaching and Learning.

Tara

Teaching and Learning Manager 

Tara completed her Master's degree in business management and acquired a Celta Pass A over a decade ago. She has been teaching English for 17 years and has worked as an Academic Manager for 4 years. Her years of experience working at schools, language centers and universities have prepared her for the challenges faced in an academic management role. She has lived all over Vietnam for the past 10 years and is now settled in Ho Chi Minh city.

Matthew

Teaching and Learning Manager 

Matthew D. has worked in the ESL field for 10 years, first in UK and then Japan before settling in Vietnam. He holds a Bachelors degree in English Literature and a CELTA. Matthew has worked at ILA for six years and as a Teaching and Learning Manager for two. Matthew currently manages centres in HCMC (District 9) and Binh Duong (Di An).
